For a trip the whole family can enjoy together, celebrate togetherness—and summer vacation—by heading to the glaciers! Our award-winning North to Alaska program, featuring animal encounters, scavenger hunts, and so much more, delivers an epic adventure for all ages. This area wasn’t designed to seat enough guests for their current high-demand shows. The sight lines are ok for looking directly at the stage but not always for some of the show’s aerial stunts. So even if you can find a seat, it may be partially obstructed. We saw guests waiting in line for hours or saving the open seats on the higher levels to have a chance to see these fantastic performances.
Shipboard facilities and amenities
Not everyone can access this area — it’s reserved for passengers staying in Havana rooms. Order The Sakura From LatitudesOne of the unique bars on Celebration is the Latitudes — and not just for the cool flipboard sign (like you’d see in an old train station) that’s above the bar. The menu is filled with drinks inspired from around the world, from a paloma (Mexico) to a bramble (England).
Entertainment options
Try your luck at the thrilling casino, boasting a variety of popular games. Fun is offered to all age groups on this family-friendly ship. The complimentary Kids Club offers supervised aged specific activities. A kids' pool, toys, videogames, parties and a small theater are just some of the features, while a jungle gym and gaming consoles keep older children happy.
Carnival to open Grand Bahama Celebration Key in summer of 2025
These formerly complimentary venues – a combination of Mexican and Asian and the Italian-themed Cucina – are now free for the first visit, and $8 per person for all repeat reservations. Named after the line’s original Celebration of 1987, Carnival Celebration pays homage to Carnival’s past while also continuing to add new and exciting features that are sure to please guests of all ages. Carnival Celebration® wouldn’t be complete without a place for you to settle in and recharge after a long day’s fun. Carnival Celebration® has its own Punchliner Comedy Club in the Celebration Central zone, and up on stage you’ll find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone’s evening.
Above the desk were two shelves as well for additional gear. There were his and her closets, each with shelves and a clothes bar. Further, the desk had three additional drawers for extra storage space. Piano 88 blends live piano music with a variety of drinks each evening. Cruisers can also order up cocktails at the Punchliner Comedy Club and Limelight Lounge. Further, the drinks tend to be more Caribbean-inspired than they are craft cocktails.

Even if you didn’t participate, you couldn’t help but enjoy all of the fun just watching the different activities. The Cruise Director Lee and the rest of the Fun Squad did a fabulous job keeping the energy up all cruise. Lee was an excellent host for game shows like Family Feud and Love and Marriage. He was very visible throughout the ship and always willing to say hello or take a selfie.
If you hit an elevator bank, check the color of the nearby stairwell. Each one has a different color wallpaper (red, green, yellow) to help you identify which area of the ship you are in. The Center Stage theater in the middle of the ship is another good example. Since it’s not set up like a normal theater, there just weren’t a ton of spots to sit down and still see the stage. Carnival has filled the ship with different restaurants ranging from easy grab-and-go items (Street Eats, Guy’s Burger Joint, Big Chicken, etc.) all the way to high-end dining (Rudi’s Seagrill, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse).
This venue should not be missed if you are a seafood lover and want to try something special during your cruise. On embarkation day, we boarded the new Carnival Celebration at Carnival Cruise Line’s newly remodeled Terminal F at Port Miami. This beautiful terminal is now enlarged and designed to fit the larger Excel class ships like Carnival Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration. Our check-in went very smoothly, and the line moved quickly. The Celebration offers a higher number of forward-facing balconies, placing cabins at the front of the ship where other ships may place spas, gyms, or specialty restaurants in that area.
Meanwhile, it holds about 5,300 passengers at double occupancy, along with 1,800 crew members. Carnival is a line that harmoniously brings people from all walks of life together. Over the course of our weeklong Eastern Caribbean cruise, waiting – for elevators, for food, for bar service, for deck chairs, and nearly everything in between – became a hallmark of the Carnival Celebration experience. Rudi’s Seagrill™ is the brainchild of cookbook author and master chef Rudi Sodamin. He has years of experience pleasing palates of vacationers… and this guy loves serving up a smile as much as Carnival does!
Princess visits over 300 ports — and you can celebrate in any of them. Here are our top picks for celebrations, all through the year, all around the world. During our cruise, we enjoyed a Sea Day Brunch, and I ordered the House Special Skillet Cake.
We entered a virtual queue to reserve a table whenever we were hungry for dinner. In our experience, the wait times were fairly accurate, and we never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. Finally, much like the International Cafe on Princess Cruises, the Java Blue Cafe serves up some grab and go bites as well.
The new train station-inspired Latitudes Bar and returning Emeril's Bistro 1397 anchor this area, with the popular pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar above. Emeril's serves Louisiana-style breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as three evening specials based on the day's international theme. Here you’ll find everything from the main pool to the buffet, an aft pool with bar, Guy’s Burger Joint, the Serenity adults-only area, and the Ultimate Playground.
They were also very approachable, shaking hands and taking pictures with guests as we exited the show. I thought this was wonderful and shows how touched guests were by seeing such talented entertainers live. During our cruise, we utilized a Wi-Fi package, and Carnival seems to have some of the best internet connections that work well around the whole ship, even in your cabin.
Carnival Celebration's construction at Turku Shipyard Finland officially started on January 13, 2021, with the steel-cutting ceremony (yard/hull number 1397). The special event was attended by Ben Clement (CCL's Senior VP of Newbuilds, Refurbishments and Product Innovation) and Tim Meyer (Meyer Turku's CEO). Cabin balconies are accessed via sliding floor-ceiling glass doors. The boat has 18 decks, of which 15 are passenger-accessible and 11 with cabins. For planning itineraries, Stein said the cruise line has a very high prioritization on reducing its carbon footprint, which can be achieved by sailing shorter distances or at lower speeds. “The easier they can make the transit in and out of the port also helps and the business dealings between us and the port in terms of booking berth space.
